This sarcastic video draws on conspiracy audiovisual cultures to create a fast paced, visually chaotic deep dive into AGI hype. Developed within the Master’s in Data Design at Elisava – Barcelona School of Design and Engineering, the project mobilises media theory, political critique, STS, and political economy to critically examine how AGI promises are articulated in relation to cyberlibertarian politics and venture capital, tracing the narratives through which future technological transformations are rendered plausible and desirable.
